what else can i say but "alhamdulillah" and "subhanallah"....
- watched one of my most favorite bands, RADIO DEPT., here in Jakarta. oh God :'D
been loving this band since 2006, i guess. to watch them performing live is an honor, and a blessing. their music is so beautiful, with heart-wrenching melody, and you-just-can't-help-not-to-move-your-head-nor-tap-your-fingers-along rhythm. at first, it felt kinda strange to be in the stream of youngsters (who were there to see the kooks). but kiti and i were inevitably dragged into the high-spirited ambience as we heard blur songs being played loudly from a big sound fest ticket booth. found ourselves chanting "they're gonna be here omigodomigod can you believe it we're too old to be groupies but who cares or what?!?!?!"
aaand, there were backdrops of the Great Britain's union jack combined with very accurate words about how great britain is all about freat music and great bands. we kept ourselves busy while waiting for the entrance gate opened by taking pictures with those 'propaganda,' hehe.
the band's performance was undoubtedly great, of course. they were also uber-humble, saying "oh we're not one of the big bands. shouldn't play too many songs." but oh how you fill my soul with happiness :')
- had a great long talk with kiti, during our togetherness before and after the gig. she even stayed at my house that night <3
we talked about books we read, her view upon living here and other countries, her adoration towards the Great Britain and mine towards France :P, etc. also 'bout the things we used to keep on our head but could say out loud to each other. meeting her, and watching radio dept of course, gave a whole new energy to me. i feel really grateful for it.
- so, adit (or should i say "we" the way adit always says it) finally made the decision. bismillah, we hope it's for the greater good. i'm scared yet excited as usual. but i think i'd just focus on how this might be the nod from above regarding our recent life change.
- attended @alifmagz's event about "introducing Allah to our children." it was really insightful. and i'm glad i came with adit. that way i wouldn't have to explain things all over again to him :P
this is (kind of) the excerpt. i took it from alifmagz's site.

Pendekatan kasih sayang mencakup tiga hal, yaitu: 1.
as in my own words, i'd like to report that there are some jlebful wisdom i got from the event.
this made me glance towards adit, and say "is he serious? me, no malls?"
- my kid's own words.
- sambil sentrap-sentrup, sehari sebelum pesta ultah tetangga sohibnya, "ke ultah naya gimana ni bumy mamaaa?" karena gue bilangin "ayo bumy makan sayur dan buah yang banyak, supaya bisa sehat jadi bisa dateng ke ultah naya besook." hihihi. sorry to make you worry yah baby.
- "ma, kok matahari gak ada matanya sih?"
- "kok difoto sih?!" ketika dia gak sengaja menemukan fotonya lagi jongkok dan serius baca buku di aksara.
- "kalo malem-malem mama jangan kerja terus loh. kok malem-malem kerja siiiih. kerja apaan?" sambil menggelendoti kakitanganmuka gue yang sedang kejar setoran tulisan. -___-
- bumy ngeliatin tahi lalat di telapak kaki kirinya.
B: "kok kaki bumy ada tahi lalatnya sih mamaa?"
G: "iya, itu Allah yang menciptakan."
B: "kok Allah gak ciptain tahi lalat di kaki dua-duanya sih mamaaa?"
G: .... "err... look, it's a bird! it's a plane!"
