settling down it takes time

oh hey, happy new year, everyone :)

it's the third day of january. the traffic's been kind. this morning it took only 30 minutes from home (jagakarsa) to office (kebayoran). our morning ride was occupied only by bumy and me. adit's been having fever since sunday. last night we went to KMC after office to get his blood tested and consult with the GP. it was dr. Ali who kindly explained the nature of fever, viral infection, etc. i think i think he's one of very rare doctors who practises RUM and is willing to educate his patients.
and so that's why adit got the privilege of skipping work today. on our way to daycare, bumy kept repeating that "bumy mau ikut ke kantor mama aja." even though yesterday he achieved not to cry when we left him for work. it has been a not-so-easy transition. well, it *is* supposed to not be easy. the other day, bumy went amok for two long hours (8 to 10 pm precisely) and only stopped when he fell asleep.
i didn't know what caused it, and i still don't now. he acted ok during the day, he ate on time, he got his nap. it's like he suddenly wallowed into bad mood. maybe somehow he sensed some kinda bad vibe from me and/or adit. we were quite exhausted with the whole pindahan going on. although most of our stuff have been stored neatly in its places, but we are still adapting with the whole 'condition.' evenmore, on saturday, we just held a syukuran, inviting only closest family members. the house was packed (well, it is mini-sized), and we got busy preparing the event. it seems like, without us realizing, our body and mind were consumed both by syukuran and pindahan. that's why it is not surprising adit got sick the next day :|

on new year's eve, since adit's sick+lemes+dsb, we cancelled the plan to sleep over at mrican. we went to dijan's kemang to have a festive eating, got home at 8 and then i watched the tv all by myself. it made me feel like i'm still the same "bridget jones" after all.

anyways, guess i'd just put on some pics to tell the story much further. *lagi gak mood nulis* :P

and now it feels less like a display box, more like a  house :))

perdana memakai oven: bread pudding. khas inggris katanya sih haha.
