rainy season wishlist

the rainy days are here. finally :D for two or three days now, the rain's been falling on midday. the weather's never too cold (at the office, at home, on the road), and it's not sumuk anymore. which i love.

upon welcoming this beloved season, and also my birthday which is lurking on the following month (haha), i'd like to compose a (yet another) wishlist.
oh btw there's a hadits that says “Doa tidak tertolak pada 2 waktu, yaitu ketika adzan berkumandang dan ketika hujan turun” (HR Al Hakim, 2534, dishahihkan Al Albani di Shahih Al Jami’, 3078) so i suppose it's only natural to whisper wishes when it rains.

1. a decent outfit for my sister's lamaran.
being a person that is not updated fashion-wise, i find it hard to get the look and the clothes that would be nice for a formal occasion. i've been wearing the same three or four outfits (not in the same time of course) for wedding receptions these last five years. i didn't bother shopping to add my "collection." but now i think i need to. why? because adit the ever-so-clueless husband has been 'suggesting' me to update (or "upgrade" i think) my look for formal occasion. kinda harsh, isn't it? no, not the way he's 'suggesting', but rather WHY he should be suggesting in the first place. my shabby look has been that obvious, huh?? *enters quarter-life crisis*

so i tried a bit of browsing. to very limited places actually. and the best i could come up with is this:

although am not a fan of bright brave red. and the jewellery's also over the top for me. but i love the songket. and the peplum top. oh well, you get the idea.

2. a bit of cosmetics. specifically consist of:
- powder
- brush set
- new shade of lipstick

3. to run in the rain.
i've been loving "mandi ujan" ever since i was little. well, every child loves mandi ujan. but it never wears me out. i never grow myself out of it. not completely.

they enlarge my life space. bring refreshing stuff to laugh about, talk about, or brag abut hahaha.
